Prime Minister Andrew Holness is rejecting reports that the government is closing its doors on the Peace Management Initiative (PMI). Mr. Holness says a revision of the programme has shown that it has become a more resource incentive and has lost its intended value.
However, he did say that the government is re-evaluating its funding to align with the country’s security goal.
