Speaking at a meeting at the National Disaster Risk Management Council, Prime Minister Holness urged citizens to heed the hurricane warnings, noting the possibility of evacuation with only a moment’s notice. He says evacuation is likely, once certain areas experience flooding or become otherwise compromised.

Mr. Holness notes despite the last incident with citizens denying the services of the JUTC buses sent to aid in their evacuation, the buses will be available this hurricane season.
