Prime Minister Holness refuted claims that the Opposition was given the regulations late forming part of the reason for them not supporting the latest SOE extension. He explains that several concerns raised about human rights breaches did not apply to the current or latest SOEs. “The latest crime-fighting measure has yielded much fruit reducing murders from nearly 40 per week to around a dozen,” said the Prime Minister.
