“A proper account” that’s the call from the opposition as it relates to the current state of the education system. According to Spokesperson on Education Dr. Angela Brown-Burke, the nation’s children are far behind and the Education Ministry to date does not have a comprehensive plan.
On the heels of Education Minister Fayval Williams confirming a large number of schools reopening, Opposition Spokesperson on Education Dr. Angela Brown-Burke while speaking at the PNP media briefing Tuesday, says the education ministry needs to be more efficient.
Dr. Brown-burke also noted the risks children face while at home. She however says while the opposition supports the resumption of face-to-face learning, the report given by the minister for the first week in January leaves room for questioning.
