PNP Chairman Slams JLP As Anti-Poor

People’s National Party’s (PNP) Chairman Dr. Angela Brown Burke, is encouraging Jamaicans to think twice before supporting the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), as she claims it is solely for the rich. Slamming the party as anti-poor, the Chairman says MP Juliet Holness’ recent comment is the latest proof of that statement.

Chairman of the PNP Dr. Angela Brown-Burke is slamming the JLP for what she calls their anti-poor approach to govern. This after Member of Parliament and Deputy Speaker of the house of representatives Juliet Holness remarked that wherever is unsafe to live, comrades live there.

Dr. Brown Burke says the PNP understands some Jamaicans are living on lands that are unsafe. However, she says there is a fundamental difference between the way in which both parties approach the problem. Meanwhile, the chairman also dismissed several claims made by Holness regarding one of the PNP’s housing solutions, operation pride.
