PNP Confirms Candidates For 60 Seats; 3 Unconfirmed

Election temperatures are rising and the People’s National Party is working to organize a win in all sixty three constituencies.

The party has secured sixty of the sixty three candidates needed to represent constituencies across Jamaica.

This was disclosed by the Party’s General Secretary, Julian Robinson who says in less than a month the other 3 will be confirmed.

Back in the 2016 general election, the Jamaica Labour Party secured 32 seats to the pnp’s 31.

Since then, the governing party has secured two other seats in East Portland and South East St Mary in by-elections.

The three outstanding vacancies are in the constituencies of St. James North western, currently being represented by National Security Minister Dr Horace Chang, Eastern Portland represented by the JLP’S Ann-Marie Vaz and North Eastern St Andrew, which is represented by Minister of Justice Delroy Chuck.

Robinson says the party remains confident.
