PNP: Gov’t Guilty of Gross Negligence In COVID-19 Mismanagement

‘Negligence In COVID-19 Mismanagement’ – The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) held a press conference on Tuesday, February 23, where they did not mince words as to the mismanagement of the pandemic by the government.

This as the country’s infection rate continues to soar and the state hospitalization has become alarming with 13 of 22 hospitals across the island at the red alert, which means they have a greater than 84% occupancy level for its isolation capacity.

Opposition on Health Dr. Morais Guy adds that the unfilled commitment by the government to roll out vaccines by mid to late February, is now a national embarrassment.
