Tension remains in Southeast St. Catherine following the People’s National Party’s (PNP) decision to select Dr. Alfred Dawes as its standard bearer for the constituency in the next General Election.
His selection over Alric Campbell created a firestorm in the constituency, with protest action and the party’s constituency office set ablaze. Dr. Dawes says he subsequently received death threats but remains firm in his resolve. Watch the report:
