PNP Urges Venezuela to Abide by ICJ Ruling on Essequibo Region

The People’s National Party (PNP) acknowledges the recent ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on December 1, 2023, regarding the border dispute between Guyana and Venezuela concerning the Essequibo region. In a gesture of goodwill and in alignment with the longstanding amicable relationship between the nations, the PNP urges the government of Venezuela to adhere to the ICJ’s decision.
