PNP Working Towards Unity After Internal Election

The internal election within the People’s National Party has been settled. The two campaigns “ONE PNP” and “RISE UNITED” have agreed to dismantle their respective camps and focus on re-engaging party members as one unit.

This was disclosed at a Post Election Conference held at the Party’s Old Hope Road headquarters in Kingston. Dr. Phillips says he intends to be President for all members of the party.

His comment comes following a one-on-one meeting with Dr.  Phillips and Peter Bunting in which several issues relating to the internal election were discussed. Both former rivals confirmed that they’re committed to cooperating for the success of the party.

The private session of the party’s 81st Annual Conference is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, while the public session will follow on September 22.
