PNP’s Vision for the Economy

As part of our ongoing coverage of the Budget Debate 2023/24, CVM LIVE was also able to speak to the Opposition Spokesperson on Finance Julian Robinson, about the conceptual framework behind his contribution to the Debate.

With annual GDP growth for the next four years projected to remain around 1%, Robinson believes the long-term aspirations for growth must also take into consideration the structural aspects of the economy. Robinson encapsulated the sentiment, that Jamaica must focus on moving up the value chain of the global economy. Watch the report:
