Several 5-gallon containers were discovered at a makeshift gas station in St Ann on Thursday. The St Ann police conducted several operations in the division, as they remain resolute in bringing order to the parish. A major breakthrough, by law enforcement in st. Ann on Thursday, as a series of raids in and around the Brown’s Town district, uncovered a makeshift gas station in Tobolski.
Gallons of diesel, stored in containers fueled speculations around the gravity of the illegal trade. This latest targeted activity, under the recently launched “Operation Leviticus”, is expected to restore law and order in the parish, consequent to the upsurge in murders and road fatalities. Deputy Superintendent, in charge of criminal activities for St Ann, Linton Bailey, says the police remain resolute. He says subsequent to the discovery several persons were taken into custody. Meanwhile, while lauding the service of the St Ann fire brigade for their assistance, Bailey’s condemning the illegal trade of gasoline in the parish. Watch the report:
