Police Commissioner: Murders Down by 13%

Newly Minted Police Commissioner Dr Kevin Blake has just announced a continued reduction in murders for the first quarter of 2024. He says there’s reduction in major crimes with murders down by 13 per cent and shootings down by 4 per cent when compared to the similar period last year.

Meantime, ammunition seizures rose by 41 per cent compared to the same period in 2023.

The update was shared during a recent Press Conference hosted by the Police Force.
