Police Commissioner Pledges Resources to Fight Manchester Crime

Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson is pumping more resources and boots into Manchester following a wave of crimes in recent weeks. Anderson says the police are bent on changing the mindset held by criminals that businesses in the central parish are easy targets. As another round of emergency crime suppression measures expires, Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson explains the threats occasioning the special measures have not all disappeared.

He says while there were no States of Public Emergency in Manchester, several other crime-fighting measures employed, yielded some amount of success. The Police Commissioner reported that the anti-robbery task force is one of the latest features, additional personnel has been deployed from specialized and tactical teams to bolster crime fighting in the parish from now into the new year.
