Police Pleased With Holiday Compliance So Far

Police pleased with Christmas 2020: The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) says Christmas 2020, was a relatively safe one.

This year’s festive season comes with a difference. Security forces were tasked with enforcing the Disaster Risk Management Orders in keeping with the COVID-19 restrictions.

Senior Superintendent of Police at the JCF’s Corporate Communications Unit, Stephanie Lindsay says the police began increasing their presence on Christmas Eve.

They were present in the commercial districts, town centers as well as volatile communities across the island.
