The history of vote-buying in Jamaica is said to be alive and well. Political supporters have allegedly been receiving the money to vote for a Member of Parliament and with the election season in full effect, the Political Ombudsman is warning against the practice. CVM Live spoke to a citizen from one of the more impoverished communities in Kingston who explains that attempts to buy votes have begun.
