Polls: Eastern St. Andrew is Divided

Despite calls by some People’s National Party supporters for former Member of Parliament Andre Hylton to represent the party in Eastern St Andrew in the next elections there appears to be a split.
In a statement yesterday attributed to Hylton, he cites recent internal polls suggesting Eastern St. Andrew is divided between himself, as constituency Chairman and newcomer Daniella Hickling.

Hylton previously represented said constituency from 2011 to 2016 after defeating the Jamaica Labour Party’s (JLP) Dr Saphire Longmore.

The seat is now represented by the JLP’s Fayval Williams.
