Popular PNP Activist Killed in Montego Bay

Investigations have commenced into the daring daylight killing of a popular St James businessman and People’s National Party (PNP) activist in a bus park on Thursday afternoon. 

It has been just over 24 hours since the Government of Jamaica declared another round of States of Public Emergency (SOPEs) in St James and several other parishes aimed at targeting criminals and stemming the wanton bloodletting. However, daring criminals bent on taking lives, snatched that of a senior citizen, Lesmore Williams Thursday afternoon. He was at a cook shop in the taxi park he has operated for years in the heart of Montego Bay.

Councillor Troupe says Williams was a crucial arm of the PNP, especially in central St James.

However, the late businessman was more than just that… He spoke to his pastor and close friend, shortly before he met his demise. Watch the report below:
