During Portland’s Monthly Parish Council Meeting, Superintendent of Police in the Portland Division Lloyd Darby highlighted the circumstances surrounding homeless persons being charged with indecent exposure.
The homeless male remains in custody, while his female accomplice is deemed fit to plea mentally unstable. But he says the police need more than video evidence, as he calls for citizens who witness any such act to come forward and file an official report. Noting the need for these persons to receive treatment and care, Superintendent Darby calls on family members who are aware of their relative’s condition, to play their part in caring for them.
