Police in Portmore, St Catherine on Wednesday hosted a meeting with taxi operators to bridge the widening gap between the two groups. The meeting follows an altercation with a taxi operator who was shot by the police.
While the taxi operators voiced concerns, the Head of the Portmore Police, Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips says citizens must cooperate with the police in order to strengthen the relationship. He was speaking at the Greater Portmore Police Station. More details in this report:
