Potential Vaccine Hesitancy Among the Homeless Community

Approximately sixty (60) homeless people have received their first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, as the Government tries to battle the increase in COVID-19 cases.

The first inoculation exercise for members of the homeless population took place last week Thursday at the Marie Atkins shelter as well as at the temporary shelter on church street in Downtown Kingston.

And as with the general population, there are doubts and conspiracy theories among the homeless community.
