Grade six students who sat the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) Examinations received their results today after another year of virtual learning.
Education Minister Fayval Williams gave a thorough breakdown of how the Ministry reviewed the results to place students at a press conference yesterday, July 16.
Minister Williams highlighted that the placements for students matriculating to the secondary level was broken down into five major categories.
The Minister notes, students in 2020 who were not able to sit the ability test, the scores of the Grade Four Literacy Test of 2019 will be used along with the PEP Six Ability Test.
She adds four distinct criteria that were used to determine performance levels for the Primary Exit Profile Examinations.
