Prime Minister Aims to Provide More Housing Solutions for Citizens in Need

The government continues its mission to provide housing solutions for citizens, through its Social Housing Programme initiative; another family in Wakefield, Trelawny benefited from a three-bedroom unit. Prime Minister Andrew Holness, who was speaking at the handover ceremony says the government will continue to fulfill its promise to the people.

The Prime Minister handed over a three-bedroom unit, at a cost of 6.5 million dollars in Wakefield, Trelawny. He said the Social Housing Programme is a government intervention, to improve the lives and conditions of the people. Holness says the government aims to hand over up to three houses per week, noting since last year the social housing programme has allocated approximately 73 units. Watch the full report:
