Prime Minister Announces Changes to Operations Of FLA

Prime Minister Andrew Holness has announced that several considerations have been given to the operations of the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) including the application process for firearms and the changing of the requirement to serve on the FLA Board.

He has also declared that the Jamaica Customs Agency will be formally brought into the ‘Get Every Illegal Gun’ campaign to capture every possible entry point for illegal guns. Prime Minister Holness was speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony for a new stony hill police station in St. Andrew west rural, on Thursday.
