Prime Minister Hopes Opposition Will Support SOE

In an effort to wrest the country from the hands of gangsters, Prime Minister Andrew Holness declared States of Public Emergency (SOE) across several parishes. The Prime Minister explains he was petitioned to implement the measure by the people in several of the impacted spaces and that he wishes the Opposition can support the latest crime-fighting measure targeting criminals.

Prime Minister Holness remarked last year that there would be no more SOE.

Meanwhile, authorities say gangs have evolved tremendously over the years posing a significant risk to lives and livelihoods heading into the yuletide season. More details below:
