Prison facilities are overcrowded as the government considers longer sentences for murder and gun crimes. It also acknowledges the necessity for additional prison spaces to accommodate those behind the guns. With an overflow of prisoners in two of Jamaica’s main facilities, Minister of Justice Delroy Chuck states that if needed, more spaces will be built. Watch the report:
