Minister of Health and Wellness while participating in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) conference in Barbados admitted that people were not living the quality of life they were deserving of, noting they are dying from non-communicable diseases before their estimated lifespan.
The Minister insists that if this should change then the conversations around health care has to change while challenging private sectors and multilateral stakeholders, including the world bank, to get involved in the move to prevent health hazards and give greater attention to the health imperative in economic modelling as the issues escalate.
