People were out in their numbers recently to receive their second COVID-19 jab at a blitz held by Progressive Grocers. The Progressive Grocers of Jamaica held its second vaccination blitz for people to receive their second COVID-19 jab. Scores turned out at the Michi Boulevard Center on Thursday, September 30.
Director Laura Loshusan says they aim to have at least 600 people vaccinated matching the figure of the previous blitz held at the sovereign center last month. She noted that they have been working with their staff to answer any questions and concerns that they may have, by bringing in medical doctors to have the conversations with them to lessen the fear of becoming vaccinated. She also highlights the vaccines that were administered were also not near to the expiry date and sought to add the vaccination take between genders are mostly females.
Meanwhile, Head of the organization, Craig Chin notes that the education of his is the best route to take, as regarding the COVID-19 vaccination he says this is a more reasonable approach, rather than making it mandatory. Progressive Grocers will continue to host more vaccination blitz; across the corporate area.
