On Monday taxi operators parked their vehicles and bore placards to voice their disgust with the state of the road from Falmouth to Wakefield. Large stones and other debris were used to block the roadway creating major problems for users.
Several commuters trying to go about their business were stranded for several hours. One commuter told our correspondent that she had to walk approximately four miles trying to get transportation.
