The Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) is again urging the two major political leaders to commence private conversations about short-term crime strategies for the country.
PSOJ Boss, Keith Duncan says the country is in dire need of a plan, as recent statistics show 71% of murders this year were committed by gangs. Duncan says the need for a consensus has been heightened, as the commissioner of police announced 71 percent of the over one thousand murders are committed by gangs. President Duncan says there is an urgent need for sound, visible, effective short-term strategies, as Jamaicans are losing hope. Watch the full report:
