The deadline for the submission of public feedback on the National Identification Registration Bill has been extended by two weeks.
The submission period would have ended on January 29. However, the NIDS Joint Select Committee says it is giving the public time to review and comment on the Bill which would make way for a voluntary national identification for citizens.
The time has been extended until February 15.
