With the support of Environmental Stakeholders from both public and private sectors, the Rae Town Plastic Recycling Pilot Project was successfully launched on October 29.
The project which will be executed by the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) aims to reduce the waste stream entering the Kingston Harbour as well as to provide plastic recycling job opportunities for members of the Rae Town community.
