In Montego Bay St. James The Royals were again met with protestors, Rastafarians, demanding reparations for atrocities committed during the years of slavery. On Wednesday, they came out in their number calling on the royal family to right the wrongs of the past that have spilled over into the present.
Questions are being raised about the purpose of the CARICOM Reparations Commission. A bystander said he was in agreement with the calls as he believes the country needs further development.
The Rastafarians are urging the government of Jamaica to move quickly and do away with the queen as head of state.
