Parents of Rastafarian woman, Nzinga King are refuting the ruling made by the Director of Public Prosecutions, Paula Llewellyn. The ruling suggests that based on a raft of inconsistencies and witness claims, the king pulled out her own hair.
The DPP also concurred with Indecom that the king should be afforded professional counseling. The Kings had no faith in the justice system to rule in their favor. At the start of the interview, Shirley Mcintosh, mother of Rastafarian Nzinga King who alleged that her dreadlocks were trimmed by a police corporal while in lockup, concedes that she does not have much to say.
But eventually told our news team she was not surprised by the ruling by the office of the director of public prosecutions. But Nzinga’s father had much to say, also standing in defense of his daughter who he says grew up in the faith. More details in this report:
