Stakeholders are again imploring Jamaicans to play their part in protecting the Nation’s children many of whom end up dead under tragic circumstances. On Sunday Jamaica reflected on the lives of many whose names are now engraved on the secret garden monument in Downtown, Kingston, by laying wreaths.
Director, of Hear the Children’s Cry, Joy Bennett, highlighted hearing the children’s cry requires as she explains more than just seeing, or knowing of their plight but acting in a way to remedy the problem. That is where others including the police come in, and in this case, they have already seen to a reduction in tragedies impacting children.
