Residents Angered by River Dumping

Fish and crayfish vendors among other residents in Berrydale, Portland continue to feel the hard pinch from unscrupulous persons who dump garbage and poison the river to increase their catch for food.

The residents are now appealing to the relevant authorities to implement stricter measures to punish those in breach. Others say while rafting is a main source of income in the community the continuous dumping negatively impact’s its beautification. Watch the report below:
