Residents of Dalvey Receive Water Tank

Residents in Dalvey, St Thomas can sigh a breath of relief as the National Water Commission (NWC), recently installed a fifty thousand US gallon tank in the parish. On Wednesday an authorization ceremony for the Fraser Hill storage replacement project was held.

The 50, 000 US gallon tank which costs 20 million dollars will serve one of the largest communities in St Thomas, Dalvey, even if the water lane re-lift pump is out of commission. Matthew Samuda, Minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation says there has never been a capital project of its kind in Jamaica. Watch the report:
