Speaking at the commissioning ceremony for the water supply system, on Thursday, Minister Desmond McKenzie says the ministry is committed to the implementation of projects to expand minor water supplies across Jamaica. Minister McKenzie has a message for potential users of the facility. The national water commission will give the first 50 residents who apply a 50 per cent discount on their initial installation fee. Additionally, for this financial year, over $325- million dollars has been allocated to bring water to six parishes.
