Children in Waterhouse carry on with learning as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt education. The impact of the learning loss is projected to have far-reaching consequences if the children do not return to school. But with the second wave of the virus, the worst yet, students may be out of the physical classroom for a while longer.
Melissa Powell, the woman with the initiative, explains that the idea sparked when she realized the impact of the closure of schools on the children in her community.
