Robinson: “Public Sector Workers Bullied to Sign Wage Offer “

The Opposition Spokesman on Finance on Thursday tackled the latest appeal by the Finance Minister during his budget contribution for the remaining public sector workers to take up the outstanding wage offer before March 31. 

Julian Robinson told the Parliament given the deadline public sector workers are feeling pressured to sign.  During the 2023/2024 budget debate on Thursday Robinson noted that potentially thousands of workers from the public sector are yet to sign. He indicated that some of the major groups including legal officers and the Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB), are yet to commit to the terms. Watch the report:
