Andre Ruddock, the man charged with killing a woman during an alleged sacrificial ritual at Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries in St. James has confessed to the murder. Ruddock reportedly confessed in a caution statement to the police in the presence of two Justices of the Peace on Monday, October 18.
The prosecution outlined the allegations against Ruddock in the Home Circuit Court on Wednesday, November 3, and the court has ordered a psychiatric evaluation be done. The matter has been adjourned until Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
Alleged eyewitnesses reveal that two weeks prior to the incident, the leader of the organization Dr. Kevin Smith began to act strange. Dr. Smith on Sunday, October 17, gave the accused Andre Ruddock a knife and told him that he was the Archangel Gabriel.
During the course of the controversial service dr. Smith allegedly asked the now deceased Tanika Gardner, “Do you believe that I am the resurrection and the life?” Tanika answered “yes”.
Smith then asked her “Do you believe I can raise you from the dead?” She replied “yes”. Smith responded, “Your blood has to be cleansed. I will have to cut your throat” to this Taneka again said “yes”.
Smith instructed a male witness to cut Taneka’s throat, but he did not comply. Instead, Ruddock allegedly walked to Taneka and she knelt down before him.
The witness said Ruddock then used a knife to cut Ms. Gardener’s throat. It is said that the deceased Tanika Gardener did not scream and just a gargling sound was heard.
According to a witness Dr. Smith told Ruddock to cut Ms. Gardener’s head right off, as she is a goat, she has to die and she is a sacrifice.
