The controversial luxury-type apartments built by the national housing trust on Ruthven Road in Kingston are again at the forefront of discussion. This time for having suffered major flooding to its basement-type parking area following today’s heavy rains.
A team could be seen attempting to drain the rain-drenched space after the downpour. Only months ago, was the complex the centre of heated discourse for its hefty price tag near 30 and 40 million for units. Some critics had also expressed concern about the growing number of high-rise buildings being built without consideration for natural disasters.
