His itinerary for the three-day state visit includes meetings with the government and opposition leaders as well as a parliamentary address. President Kagame’s visit is set to dictate how bi-lateral relations will advance. Several government ministers and members of the opposition were present to welcome the President, including Prime Minister Andrew Holness, Opposition Leader Mark Golding, Finance Minister, Dr Nigel Clarke, and Governor-General Sir Patrick Allen.
