Thursday was for tears at the Esher Primary school where 9-year-old Kew resident, Nikita Noel attended before she was raped and killed Wednesday. The grade four student showed much promise, dreaming of giving back to education.
Added to the list of stakeholders who joined in were the police, the Victim Support Unit, staff and parents. But things were far from fine, especially for those who called her friend. Her desk now holds flowers where her academic promise had begun to bud, some still willing to search for a lesson within the inconceivable tragedy.
