School Principal Narrowly Escapes Shooting Attack; School Day Halted

This morning, a distressing incident unfolded at an infant school in St. Andrew, Jamaica. The school’s principal was the target of a violent attack by an armed assailant as she was getting into her car, presumably on her way to school. Over the past week, there has been growing concern among the people of Jamaica due to a series of attacks against women, which have resulted in several tragic deaths across the country.
