The search for a missing Clarendon taxi operator has intensified, as his loved ones desperately seek answers. It has been two long weeks since anyone has heard from him and the recent discovery of his vehicle has left relatives in a state of uncertainty.
Fearing the worst, a Clarendon family is seeking the help of the populous to locate a Taxi man who was last seen on Tuesday, April 25 of this year, heading to Old Harbour in St Catherine. Just a day later, the white pro-box taxi he was driving, licensed pk 1177 was found burnt in Osbourne Store, Clarendon, Roy Hyatt, commonly known as ‘Shine Head’ regularly plies the May Pen to Denbigh Four Paths route. His sister says the news of his disappearance, has left the family totally depressed. Hyatt was reportedly last seen clad in a short sleeve khaki shirt, with a taxi logo, and wearing a blue jean. It is said he went on a charter.
His disappearance is affecting his family both physically and psychologically, his sister says. The police, she adds, are aware of the situation and she remains hopeful they will provide an update soon.
