A massive multi-agency search is on for 9-year-old Phylisa Prussia of Bottom Yard district, Bath, St. Thomas who was allegedly abducted on Thursday, October 14.
Reports from the Bath police are about 7:10 p.m., Phylisa was last seen on her veranda, playing with dolls. She was wearing a white blouse and blue shorts.
The police theorize she was abducted, as CCTV footage obtained from the area shows the 9-year-old being escorted by an unidentified male she has not been seen or heard from since.
Early on the morning of Friday, October 15, family, friends, and well-wishers, with support from the St. Thomas police organized a search team to find Phylisa.
The search mission was bolstered by assistance from the police’s Canine division. The police have since listed Davian Bryan as a person of interest. The search has been expanded to the neighboring parish of Portland.
All its resources are being put into locating the girl. The Child Protection and Family Services Agency, (CPFSA), is currently providing counseling to the family.
Phylisa attended the Bath Primary and Junior High School. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Phylisa Prussia is being asked to contact the Bath police at 876-708-4021, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
