Search Launched for Man Who Fell Overboard Vessel

Divers are now dispatched by Kingston Wharves Limited to search for a man who fell overboard a vessel on Tuesday night. The man was reportedly on duty when he fell, hit his head and plunged into the water.

A search is now underway for 38-year-old Scot Bamburry, a Kingston wharf limited employee who fell overboard a ship while on duty Tuesday night.

Corporate services and Client Experience Manager Simone Murdock tells CVM LIVE that at about 10:05pm, while conducting stevedoring operations, Bamburry fell. She says this prompted an immediate search, but even after hours, there’s still no sign of the man.

Close friends and colleagues of Bamburry say he was happy to be employed, and was an excellent worker. They say they’re still in disbelief about the news.
