Senator Campbell-Rodriques: “Trust the Process”

The State of the Nation Debate continued in the Upper on Friday with Senator Natalie Campbell-Rodriques addressing burning issues such as crime and the economy. Senator Campbell notes that the government’s efforts in that regard are not being done in a vacuum.

The Senator also acknowledged the fact that there has been a shortage of manpower in the police force. Though the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) sees approximately 360 officers leaving the force each year, the number of graduates from the training academy has been steadily increasing. However, she says it is incumbent on society at large to help maintain peace and unity.
