Political historian Shalman Scott says Jamaica has come a far way in regards to matters of race and colour despite still have ways to go. He notes however that historically politicians from both sides of the divide have taken jabs on colour and complexion for political points. He insists despite the recent comments and suggestions Jamaicans ought not to read more into the issues than needed.
